T he International Association of Exhibition Drillers (IAXD) Logo is a pair of crossed rifles with fixed bayonets behind a globe, with the America's in the forward position - IAXD superimposed on the globe - surrounded by two olive branch clusters and the Latin phrase "Deus Noster, Nos Defende"

-
The Crossed Rifles - A symbol (without bayonets, however) commonly used for the modern day infantry, which is where military XD originated. The bayonets' employment in our logo is of course indicative of the fact that we are a fixed bayonet only competition.
-
The Globe - We are a world competition with origins in America, thus the reason for the US to be facing front.
-
The Olive Branches - have always been a symbol of peace and of new beginnings. The weapons we employ, once used as instruments of war in the greatest of conflicts (WWs I & II), are now used as instruments of art and entertainment in an environment of peace.
-
The IAXD - is the acronym for:
International Association of eXhibition Drillers.
-
"Deus Noster, Nos Defende" - Latin for:
Our God, Protect Us.
